Will Yediyurappa remain chief minister of Karnataka? BJP President JP Nadda replied.

Amidst speculations about the resignation of Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, party president JP Nadda has responded.

There is constant speculation about leadership change in Karnataka. Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had also indicated his resignation. After Yeddyurappa visited Delhi, there was talk that the leadership has persuaded him to resign, but once again the BJP has dismissed these speculations.

JP Nadda dismisses speculation.

Amid speculations of a change in power in Karnataka, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda denied any leadership crisis and said Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has done a good job. Nadda said on the last day of his two-day Goa tour, ‘Karnataka is doing well. Yediyurappa is taking care of things in his way.

Yediyurappa gave the deadline till today.

Asked if there is a leadership crisis in the southern state, Nadda said, “You feel that way. We don’t think so. Nadda’s remark assumes significance as the Karnataka Chief Minister has said that he will take an appropriate decision when he is instructed by the BJP high command to continue in the post this evening. Yediyurappa had said in Belagavi in response to a question, ‘After evening comes, you will come to know about it too. I will take an appropriate decision after getting the instructions.
