China Central Television said: “Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived on a private plane to the Saudi capital, Riyadh.”

He added that Xi Jinping will participate in the first Chinese-Arab summit and will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

And the “SPA” agency reported that the Governor of the Riyadh region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and the Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Mr. Yasir bin Othman Al-Rumayyan (the accompanying minister), received the Chinese President at King Khalid International Airport.

And Saudi media previously wrote that during this visit it is expected that major contracts and agreements worth more than $29 billion will be signed, in addition to reaching political agreements.

Experts believe that Xi Jinping’s visit to Saudi Arabia will be a strong blow to US influence in the Middle East.
